Obituary for Brandon Martin
Brandon Martin was born November 3, 1989, in Alexandria, LA and passed away July 2, 2022, at the age of 32. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, swimming, being on the lake and sitting around the fire listening to the oldies. He had a great sense of humor and liked being silly and making everyone laugh. Sometimes, he would play with his kids and all his nieces and nephews until they would ALL get in trouble – himself included. He could also be a mic hog when singing karaoke. Brandon had a big heart and would help anyone when he could in any situation. His favorite person to call upon when he needed to talk and confide in someone was his Aunt Alicia. He knew she would listen and give good advice without judging him. She was one of his Best Friends, and he loved her dearly. Most of all, Brandon especially loved spending time with his family cooking barbeque or just being together.
Brandon was preceded in death by his daddy, Gene Fabian Martin and grandparents, Lodis LeBlanc Jr., Linda B. Gant, Claudia Martin, and A.B. Martin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelby Martin;
son, Laine Taylor Martin;
daughter, Lilly Ann Martin;
mother, Lori Martin;
sister, Kayla LaField;
brothers, Nathan (Sarah) Rains and Gregory Martin;
nieces and nephews, Ava, Aliyah, Chandler, Lydia, Harley, Carson, Taylor, Sabrina, and Boston;
and a host of extended family members and friends. Brandon will be tremendously missed by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Sieper Community Church, 932 Hwy. 465 Sieper, LA 71472.
