Funeral services for Billy Ray"Possom" Cook will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Bellwood Baptist Church, Hwy. 117, Bellwood, LA with Rev. Roger Matkin officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery under the direction of Jeane�s Funeral Service of Leesville, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Bellwood Baptist Church from 5:00-9:00PM. Mr. Billy Ray Cook was born October 10, 1946, to Felix and Elsie Cook in Bellwood, LA and passed away at the age of 68 on September 23, 2015, in Robeline, LA. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. His real passion was racing and always had his car ready to hit the track. He won many trophies and enjoyed sharing them with the children. He also had a sense of humor and when asked what he needed would respond, �a sac full of money and a good lettin� alone�. His grandchildren were a special part of his life and brought him much joy. He was very loved and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents: Felix and Elsie Cook, son: Billy Preston Cook, brothers: Jerry and Terry Cook, and sister: Mildred Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Charlotte Cook of Robeline, LA Daughter � Melissa and spouse , Billy Guin, of Castor, LA Sons � Gerald and spouse, Debra Cook of Natchitoches, LA, and Jason Cook of Provencal, LA Daughter-in-law � Suzanne Marks Cook, of Houston, TX Brothers: Perry Cook of Chestnut, LA and Ted Cook of Bellwood, LA Sisters: Mary Thompson, of Shreveport, LA, Dorothy Kemp of Zachary, LA and Judy Smith of Galveston, TX 11 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild Pallbearers will be Sam Marks, Tyler Cook, Brian Cook.
