Obituary for Billie Ingalls
A funeral service for Billie Joe Ingalls will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, 1796 Laurel Hill Road Leesville, Louisiana, under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17th, at the church and from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
Billie Joe Ingalls was born on June 17, 1937, and passed away on April 13, 2017, at the age of 79. She was born and raised in Hicks, Louisiana and worked in Baton Rouge for over 30 years as a telephone operator. Billie was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening. She had a special dog, Zoe. Spending time with her family brought her much joy, so she moved to Bossier City to be closer to her grandson and daughter.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Louis W. and Velma Jeter Ingalls and two of her brothers, Gaston Louis Ingalls and Jimmie Louis Ingalls.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cissy St. Angelo Edwards and husband Robbie of Bossier City, LA
Grandson: Matthew Fisher and wife Lauren of Bossier City, LA
Brother: David “Pete” Ingalls and wife Jeanne of Baton Rouge, LA
Sister: Carmie Ingalls and husband Richard of Tucson, AZ
Pallbearers will be Matthew Fisher, Robbie Edwards, Randy Ingalls, Jordan Ingalls, Jarrett Ingalls, and Kyle McNamee.
