Obituary for Betty Chavarria
Funeral services for Betty Jean Maricle Chavarria will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, 2:00PM, at Sandy Hill Baptist Church, Hwy. 110, Leesville, LA with Rev. Sandy Gwynn officiating. Burial will follow in Occupy 1 Cemetery, Pitkin, LA, under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 10:00AM until service time at the Sandy Hill Baptist Church. Ms. Betty Jean Maricle Chavarria was born on October 19, 1954, in Pineville, LA to Earl and Ethel Maricle and passed away at the age of 60 in Leesville, LA at her residence. She was a 1977 graduate of Pitkin High School and worked as a nursing assistant for Companion Care. Ms. Betty was a straight forward person that loved taking care of her family and everyone else. She was a member of the Sandy Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Ethel Maricle, husband: Ramon Chavarria, sister: Gloria Johnson, and brother: JB Maricle. She is survived by her son: Jeffrey Chavarria and fianc"e, Amber, of Leesville, LA Daughters: Anita Strother of Oakdale, LA and Rebecca McGary of Tacoma, WA Son: Micheal Ray Chavarria of Somonauk, IL Brother: Ricky Maricle of Texas Extended family: Daniel Mills, Misty Jackson, and Tim and Melissa Berry A host of other family and friends Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com.
