Obituary for Bette Hartman
Bette Jane Hartman was born on December 2, 1926, and passed away on July 15, 2017, at the age of 90. She was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania and lived there most of her life. For the past three years, Bette lived in Leesville with her family. In her younger days she enjoyed riding motorcycles, going dancing, roller skating, as well as traveling. In fact, Bette drove a truck cross country for a while and loved visiting new places.
Bette’s family will plan a memorial service at a later date to honor her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hartman; parents, Charles and Eva Peiffer; son, Carl Harter; grandson, Christopher Harter; and granddaughter, Teresa Harter Munley.
