Mrs. Debra, his wife, had this to say about Mr. Holloway.
Benjamin was a caring and loving family man. He was very soft spoken and extremely kind-hearted. He was a great father to three beautiful daughters and a wonderful grandfather. He said that he prayed for God to send him a wife, and God sent him me. Benjamin loved to barbeque and made his own special sauce.
Mr. Holloway’s daughters had to this say about him.
My dad was my first love. I loved to hear him say, “Hello daughter.” My dad was a kind man. He was always willing to help someone in need. He was a strong man, and he was perfect in my eyes. I will miss his hugs, his voice, his laugh, and his smile. He was my hero, and I miss him dearly. I love you dad.
My dad was my hero. He was kind, thoughtful, and always humble. He raised a bratty little girl and loved me like I was his own. He raised me to be a strong, independent woman. Through all our ups and downs, his love for me never changed. I’m so very grateful to call him my Daddy and have the years I was blessed to have with him. Thank you Daddy, I love you.
My Father was a very kind hearted and loving man. He loved being outdoors. He would always listen to Bob Marley and anything that was the Blues, and loved watching old western movies. He always had the warmest smile, (but never showed his teeth). My Father was the best Father anyone would ask for.
Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his parents, Legus and Hazel Holloway.
