Obituary for Barbara Jean Ockerman
Funeral services honoring the life of Barbara Jean Ockerman will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, 2:00PM at the Holly Grove Methodist Church, Anacoco, LA, with Rev. Dave Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Jeane�s Funeral Service. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, from 10:00AM until service time. Barbara Jean Ockerman was born on June 18, 1932, to Howard and Margaret VanHorn in Saginaw, MI. She passed away at her residence on December 13, 2015, at the age of 83. She was a native of Michigan and a graduate of Owosso Bible College. She had lived in the Leesville area since 1977 and was a homemaker. She attended Holly Grove Methodist Church and Old Anacoco Baptist Church. She loved to eat with her friends at BJ�s Diner and enjoyed going to Wal-Mart. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack �Ockey� Ockerman, parents, brother � Carl Vanhorn, and sister � MaryAnn Robert Chambers. She is survived by her sons: Toc Ockerman of Hicks, LA, RobRoy and Alice Ockerman of Isheming, MI, John R.
