Barbara Ann Parker
Barbara was born on May 27, 1946, to Woodrow Randolph and Evalee Tackett Harris. She was promoted to life eternal on May 20, 2022, at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 23 days.
She was a native of Leesville, LA and married the love of her life, Bobby Parker at the age of 15. She retired from Leesville Wal-Mart after many years of service where she made many friends along the way. Her greatest joy was her Lord, her family, and friends. She loved unconditionally and fiercely. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers, and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Johnny Scott (Christine), Todd Scott (Jennifer), & Christopher Dubois;
daughter, Kanya Parker-Clibrey (Bradley);
sisters, Mary Lawrence (Joe), Carolyn Perkins (Tony), Brenda Humphrey (Randy), Diann Muse, Naomi Mewborn, and Janette Bellew;
brother, Keith Harris (Kelly);
grandchildren, Hannah Hillman (Dillon), Savannah Scott, Laikyn Cryer (Dakota), Tyler Scott, Emily Scott, Kyle Scott, Claire Parker, Talon Dubois, and Taci Dubois;
great-grandchildren, Triton Cryer, Hadley Cryer, Tyler Cryer, Brooklyn Cryer, Madilynn Scott, and Julian Smyth;
and numerous nephews and nieces all of whom loved to go to Aunt Barbara’s house. She was a mama bear to not only her children but to all of our children as well.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Family Worship Center in Leesville with Reverend Mike Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Leesville Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Tyler Scott, Joseph Harris, Nick Harris, Ryan Muse, John Humphrey, Josiah O’Reilly, Kyle Scott, Elijah O’Reilly, Levi Long, Donny West, and Daniel Davis. A visitation will be held at the church from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23rd.
