Obituary for Austin Chandler
A funeral service for Austin Trent Chandler will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Westport Friendship Baptist Church, 25 Hwy. 462 Pitkin, Louisiana with Mark Mays, Shawn Waggoner, and Braden Martin officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will follow in Flactor Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Westport Friendship Baptist Church.
Austin was born on March 12, 1995, and passed away on April 7, 2017, at the age of 22. He was a 2014 graduate of Hicks High School and while in school, he played baseball. Austin loved fishing and worked as a volunteer for the LaCamp Volunteer Fire Department. Austin touched everyone who knew him with his kind, friendly nature. Whenever you saw him, he was always smiling. He had a big heart and would help anyone that needed it. Most of all, he will be remembered as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents – Amos Chandler Sr., Thelma Chandler, and Franklin D. Jones Sr.
