Obituary for Anna K. Whitman
A memorial service for Anna K. Whitman will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Central Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Anna was born on June 18, 1933, and passed away on June 25, 2017, at the age of 84. She was an Avon representative for over 30 years and an avid Bingo player. For 34 years, she was a member of the Retired American Legion Post 387 ladies’ auxiliary. Anna faithfully attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She will be interred with her husband.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 45 years, Donald J. “Whit” Whitman; her parents, Rupert and Maria Klingersberger; one sister; and four brothers.
Left to cherish Anna’s memory are her son: Gerhard Klingersberger of Fraham, Austria
Daughters: Hildegard Priewasser of Ried, Austria and Ruthie Speicher of New Llano, LA

Grandchildren: Evelyn, Raymond, and Manuel Klingersberger, Christoph and Anja Priewasser, and Joseph and Preston Speicher
Great grandchildren: Abigail and Samuel Speicher, and Emma Klingersberger
