Obituary for Angie Marie Burr Fiscus
A graveside service for Angie Marie Burr Fiscus will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020 in Burr Ferry Community Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time for the family and friends of Mrs. Fiscus will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26th at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA.
Angie was born August 5, 1936 in Burr Ferry, LA and passed away March 24, 2020 in Leesville LA at the age of 83. She worked for a while as a bookkeeper and was a member of Burr Ferry Pentecostal Church. For most of her life, Angie lived in the Burr Ferry area. She was a talented artist who enjoyed oil painting. Her work was a blessing to many people.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Columbus Burr and Tessie Emma Addison Burr; brother, Robert “Harold” Burr; and sisters, Claire Bell Shockley and Windle Laverne McConahay.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Irvin Logan Fiscus,
son, Cary Edward Fiscus and wife Linda of Mansfield, LA,
grandchildren, Sherry Phillips and husband Jereme and Lisa Bowers and husband James,
great grandchildren, Bruce Wayne, Benjamin Jacob, and Haley Nicole all of Mansfield, LA,
sister, Shirley Maudine O’Rillian of Little Rock, AR,
and a host of extended family.
