Obituary for Alvin James Manuel
Alvin James Manuel was born on August 19, 1941, in Elton, LA to Marvin and Maggie Delahoussaye Manuel. He passed away on April 9, 2021 at the age of 79 in Deridder, LA. He was born and raised on a rice farm and helped his family in the business. He, then, worked for Bridgestone for 20 years until he had an accident and became disabled. He loved his farm animals and enjoyed raising, goats, pigeons, and chickens. He, also raised show dogs and was proud of his trophies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Sanford Manuel, and sister, Effie Benoit.
