Alton �Buddy� Vernon Norris Services for Alton�Buddy� Norris will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM. in the Christian Living Fellowship Church on Section Line Rd with Pastor Bobby Ganaway officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will follow in the Pine Island Cemetery near Pickering under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will began on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Christian Living Fellowship Church on Section Line Rd. Mr. Norris 77 of Anacoco passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at his residence in Anacoco. He was born January 26, 1937 to Otto and Pearlie Mae Warwick Norris. He was a carpenter by trade but retired as a Model Maker for the for the United States Army at Ft. Polk. Over the years he had work for the Leesville City Police Dept and Southern Pacific railroad . He loved serving others and was a Master Mason having served as Master of Leesville Masonic Lodge 240 and Pickering Lodge 147. A loving father, grandfather and friend he worshiped at Christian Living Fellowship. Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his wife: Merlene Eddlemon Norris, Parents; Otto and Pearlie Norris; Brother; L.V. Norris and Son; William Norris Survivors are; Daughters ; Alice O'Banion and husband Mike �Coon�: O'Banion of Pickering and Mamie Chouest and husband Tommy of Pickering and daughter in law; Rhonda Norris of Georgetown, La Special Friend, Maybeth Maxwell of Georgetown, La.
