Obituary for Altha Louise Robinson Walters
Funeral services for Altha Louise Robinson Walters will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Camp Eight Pentecostal Church, 2675 Hwy. 121 Otis, LA with Reverend Sam Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Eight Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29th from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Camp Eight Pentecostal Church and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Mrs. Walters was born on October 28, 1941, in Pineville, LA and passed away in Alexandria, LA on December 27, 2017, at the age of 76. She graduated from Oak Hill High School. Along with her husband, Mrs. Walters owned and operated L & A Discount store for 25 years. She was a member of Camp Eight Pentecostal Church. Most of all, Mrs. Walters enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her parents, Hardy Earnest Robinson and Lola Walker Robinson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, Leadford Lee Walters of Otis, LA
Son: Michael Walters of Otis, LA and fiancée Ashley Hall
Daughter: Karen Walters of Otis, LA
Grandchildren: Katelyn, Payton, and Andrew Walters, as well as all of the others to whom she was “Maw Maw”.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bailey, Joe Chevallier, Calvin Johnson, Carroll Dyess, Chris Holt, and Mark Fredien.
