Obituary for Alice Maxine Foushee
A graveside service for Alice Maxine Foushee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019, in Pine Island Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation for the family and friends of Mrs. Foushee will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the pavilion of the Pine Island Cemetery.
Mrs. Foushee was born on April 3, 1937, in Alco, LA and passed away on December 30, 2018, in Alexandria, LA at the age of 81. At 16 years of age, she married David Foushee and became a military wife. After living around the United States, they moved to Simpson in 1976, and she became a homemaker. Mrs. Foushee was a member of Simpson Baptist Church and then joined East Leesville Baptist Church. She loved her animals, painting, and sewing.
Mrs. Foushee was preceded in death by her husband, David Foushee; daughter, Melody Ringwood; parents, Neal and Callie Jeter; and son-in-law, Patrick Ringwood.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Foushee and wife Teresa of Simpson, LA
daughter, Melissa Ladd and husband Tom of Alexandria, LA
grandchildren, Glen, Amanda, David, and Aaron Foushee and Maeve Ladd
and one great grandchild.
