Obituary for Alfred "Frenchie" Guillory
A graveside service for Alfred “Frenchie” Guillory will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Mt. Bethel Cemetery with Reverend Dale Poe officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Alfred was born October 13, 1932 in Pine Prairie, LA and passed away August 7, 2020 in Bossier City, LA at the age of 87. He served in the Korean War while he was in the U.S. Army. For 30 years, Alfred worked in the Fort Polk Commissary as a butcher. He enjoyed gardening and working on cars and tractors.
Alfred was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Marie Ethelee “Ethel” Fontenot Guillory; parents, Alphan Guillory and Auxzee Lafleur Guillory; five brothers, Killam Guillory, Rodney Guillory, Raymond Guillory, Daniel Guillory, and Marshall Guillory; one sister, Kathleen Houle; granddaughter, Crystal Cook; five great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Donald Dailey.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Timothy Guillory and wife Sandy of Leesville, LA,
Stepson, James “Pinky” Fontenot and wife Beverly of Ville Platte, LA,
daughters, Roxann Dailey of Pickering, LA; Brenda Abel and husband David of Pickering, LA; Mickie Kinnamon and husband Billy of Leesville, LA; and Jeanique Latour and husband Kris of Pickering, LA,
