Sandra Ann Burge was born on July 7, 1953, in Lansing, Michigan and passed away on July 30, 2018, in Anacoco, Louisiana at the age 65. Mrs. Burge worked at Fort Polk in civil service for many years. She was a respected group leader in role play who made sure every detail was correct. Mrs. Burge also enjoyed fishing, tending to her plants, and watching birds. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Burge was preceded in death by her daughter Michelle Heaton and parents James and Doris Taylor.
Left to cherish their memories of her are her sons Jason Taylor and girlfriend Michelle of Anacoco, LA and Ray Heaton and wife Sam
Brother: Neil Garrett and wife Marjorie of Fort Meyers, FL
Sisters: Lisa Strandell and Roxanna Garrett
Grandchildren: Trey Heaton, Riley Heaton, Victoria Heaton, Wesley Heaton, Lauren Taylor, and Brittny Taylor
Eight great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
