Obituary for Ruby K. Addison
Ruby Kathleen Strickland Addison was born on September 22, 1948, and passed away on June 21, 2018, at the age of 69. She was a lifelong resident of the Anacoco area and a member of Old Anacoco Baptist Church and the Eastern Star #224 where she served as the past Worthy Matron. Mrs. Addison worked as a paraprofessional at the Anacoco Headstart until 1998. Some of the things that she enjoyed were cooking, shelling and canning peas, watching red birds, fishing, raising chickens, and collecting green glass. Spending time with her family was the most important thing to Ruby. She loved crocheting with Hailee and just being a mama, grandmother, and aunt.
Mrs. Addison was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sudie Strickland; brother, Michael Strickland; sister-in-law, Linda Langston; and niece, Marla Blackmon.
