Obituary for Inez Watkins Boswell
Funeral services for Inez Watkins Boswell will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Boles officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
A visitation for the family and friends of Mrs. Boswell will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Laurel Hill Baptist Church on Friday.
Mrs. Boswell was born on November 2, 1922, in Flatwoods, LA and passed away on August 6, 2018, in Simpson, LA at the age of 95. She was born and raised in Flatwoods, LA, and as a child, she attended Zimmerman Camp. After marrying Clifford Boswell, Mrs. Boswell moved to Simpson, LA and raised her family there. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, and working in her yard. The most important thing to Mrs. Boswell was spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who blessed her family and friends with her kind-hearted, gentle, patient spirit.
Mrs. Boswell was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Boswell; son, Michael Boswell; parents, Melton and Sarah Watkins; sister, Ella Mae Hillman; brother, J.P. Watkins; brother-in-law, Duffie Hillman; and sister-in-law, Bill Watkins.

Grandchildren: Valrie Cowan and husband Robert of Springfield, VA; John Boswell of Olla, LA; and Jamie Boswell of Simpson, LA

Pallbearers will be Jamie Boswell, Hershel Boswell, Belton Bennett, Shelton Bennett, Terry Bennett, and Cody Jordan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Elton Kile, Larry Watkins, Reggie Watkins, Rodney Bennett, and Jerry Boswell.
